AlomWare Toolbox is probably the only app in existence that lets you set a quick reminder on your PC at any time (no matter which app you're using), and in a minimum of 6 keystrokes without even touching the mouse! Now, this is assuming your reminder is for an hour or less away, and that you're happy to use one single character of text for the reminder message; but it's doable! ;D
To set a quick reminder, follow these steps:
- Open AlomWare Toolbox with its hotkey (first keystroke).
- Type ! to indicate that you're setting a reminder (second keystroke).
- Type the number of minutes away for the reminder (third and fourth keystrokes).
- Type the reminder text (can be one single character if desired [fifth keystroke]).
- Press the Enter key to start the reminder's countdown (sixth keystroke).

You can also set quick reminders for a specific time of day by replacing the number of minutes with the target time in 24-hour
