With AlomWare Toolbox, you can type to a background window without leaving the one you're currently in. No need to press Alt+Tab or click the other window's button in the taskbar! :o
Just use the action below with a hotkey trigger for it. Then, no matter which window you're using, just press the hotkey and select the target background window from a pop-up list that appears. Type the text you want to send, and press the Enter key to send it. The keystrokes are sent and you'll still be back in your current window.
