Clipboard Tab

The Clipboard tab (Figure 1) is used to remember the clipboard text and clipboard images that you've cut or copied, so that you can either re-copy them later, view them again later, or apply modifications to the clipboard text (such as converting it to title case).

You can right-click the tab itself to set it as your favorite tab (always shown when Toolbox's window opens), or to access related Settings for it.

Please ensure you've looked at the Privacy settings of AlomWare Toolbox, as they can affect what happens in this tab.

Figure 1

The "Text" tab shows the list of your cut and copied text (plain text only). See item E for more information.
The "Images" tab shows thumbnails of your cut and copied images and are initially sorted by date, with the newest images shown first. Click any of them and press the [Delete] key if you wish to permanently delete them. You can right-click the list to perform actions on some or all of your clips, such as locking them to prevent accidental deletion/editing; changing the sort method by date or name; or to try to copy the text in an image with OCR from Windows.
Click the list header to filter clipboard items by text and/or date. To change the number of texts shown in the list (item E), specify a filter in the format /# where # is the number to show (or 0 for no limit). Hold down the [Ctrl] key when clicking the header to remove the filter and show all texts up to the limit.
The blue "Session" item is a cumulative text block of all copied or cut text that you've made. For example, in Figure 1, the session would be a three-line block of text made up from the three items shown below it.
This is the list of your cut and copied text (plain text only) and are always sorted by date, with the newest text at top. By default for speed reasons only the last 100 texts are initially shown, but you can filter the list to show more (or all) by clicking the list header (item C). Text cut or copied today are shown in black text, and other days are in gray. To permanently delete any, click them (with the [Ctrl] key held down for multiple selections) and press the [Delete] key. You can right-click the list to perform actions on some or all of your clips, such as locking them to prevent accidental deletion/editing, or to perform modification actions on them (item F).
This is the pop-up menu that appears when you right-click an item. Select "Action" to perform text modifications on the selected text, such as converting it to to title case, wrapping lines in a border, searching the internet for it, speaking it, and so on. (Tip: You can create your own modifications in the "Clipboard" group in the "Automation" tab). Selecting "Lock" will prevent a clip from being deleted so that it's always available for re-copying in future.
This is the text of the selected clipboard item and is shown in a fixed-width font so you can view copied data without losing formatting. Statistics about the text are shown in the window's status bar (item H). You can right-click the box to perform actions on the text, such as toggling word-wrap on and off. Note: If you modify any text in this box, it is not automatically saved. You will need to copy the modified text first to save it as a new clipboard item. This is by design, so you can quickly edit and copy parts of the text but not necessarily save the changes.
This is statistics of the selected clipboard item: the number of characters, words, sentences, paragraphs, and seconds needed to read.
A short reference of the current text in the clipboard. No more wondering what's in there!
