The Password Button

At the top-right of AlomWare Toolbox's window is a button with a person on it (Figure 1). Click this to set a temporary password for this AlomWare Toolbox session (Figure 2). The password is not saved or sent anywhere, and is lost when you quit AlomWare Toolbox or click the button again to remove it.

When a password is set, you can encrypt all or part of your Notes and Action Steps with the password. This is done by selecting the part of text that you wish to encrypt, and then right-clicking the mouse and selecting "Encryption" from the pop-up menu (Figure 3 and Figure 4). Do the same again to remove (decrypt) the encrypted text. If you want to encrypt all text of a note or action step, press [Ctrl]+[A] to select all the text first before doing the right-click encryption.

When a password is not currently set but part of a Note or Action Step has been previously encrypted, you will not be able to edit it.

Be careful to NEVER forget your password! There is no backdoor or any way for your encrypted text to be recovered without it!
