Support: Running at startup/login

AlomWare Toolbox is a portable app, meaning that it doesn't require installation to be used and doesn't save its settings to the Registry (it saves all data locally in the folder where "Toolbox.exe" is). This means it won't auto-run at startup or login until you explicitly set it that way. To do this, click the Settings gear icon at the top-left of the window (Figure 1), and navigate to the "General app settings > Run at startup/login" section (Figure 2). Then double-click either "With Admin rights" or "With Standard rights". Selecting admin will give AlomWare Toolbox full power over your PC with its automation functions, but has the disadvantage that you may need to enter a User Account Control (UAC) password every time the app starts. Once you've chosen an option, a shortcut is created in the Windows "Startup" folder to auto-run the app at startup/login for you. The Registry is not touched at all.

If you ever decide to stop using AlomWare Toolbox and delete it, then make sure you first select "Don't run at startup" to remove the shortcut in the Windows "Startup" folder. Then email us about why the app didn't meet your needs and we'll see if we can suggest a workaround or implement a bug fix or missing feature. :)
